Jody Lang Executive Assistant to the President of CitiCard called on Tuesday to share with me the news - my interest rate has been restored to my pre-usury rate. After careful review by Citibank - they could not find evidence to support that I had been mailed a "Change in Terms" notice. A little oversight on their part.
She forewarned that this change was no indication that my account would not be subject to future interest rate hikes. Citibank is preparing for the "NEW CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS" - I still think they are "BANK PROTECTION LAWS" but none the less they are preparing.
